Entertainment for the Meantime

Happy New Year everyone!  The weather is getting a little better so hopefully that means that OPS can once again explore and investigate soon!

Until then, here are some more links that might be of interest to you!

First is the short film Undercity, starring Steve Duncan and shot by Andrew Wonder.  Also check out Andrew Wonder's Vimeo page for some other cool videos.   While Undercity focuses on urban history and exploration, Andrew Wonder's page has some other videos with Parkour on them.  Both are very cool.  How does this apply to ghost hunting and investigation?  Well, in my theory, urban history/exploration can be very hand in hand with ghost hunting.  Aren't they both ways to better understand the area you live in and where you come from?  I think so.

Second is the ARG (Alternate Reality Game) on YouTube called Marble Hornets.  Currently there are over 30 videos in this series, so be sure to begin with 'Introduction' and move up the numbers.  Also, be sure to check out the 'response' videos from totheark.  They are very creepy!  A main character (of sorts) in Marble Hornets is Slenderman.  Ironically, Slenderman was created solely on the internet in a 'create a paranormal creature' contest.  He is quite terrifying.  The series has plenty of thrills and scares to it, and might even make you a little paranoid, like any good horror film/series.  You were warned.

Third is another blog you might want to check out.  It is called Strange State, and is something of a paranormal news blog.  The author, Cullan Hudson, has also written several books about the paranormal side of Oklahoma.  It should be pretty obvious why this applies to paranormal investigation.

Well, that's all I have for now!  Until next time.
